Sellers are prohibited from listing speculative tickets. Vivid Seats defines “speculative tickets” as any tickets for which the seller cannot provide hard proof of purchase. In addition, these tickets may also be:
- Listed as “Seat Saver℠” tickets with a section range or row range described as “TBD”/”TBA.”
- Listed before a pre-sale occurs.
- For seats in rows that are less premium and often “upgraded” after a sale occurs.
All accounts are closely monitored for speculative inventory. Vivid Seats reserves the right to request proof of purchase for listings or sales that are suspected to be speculative at any time. The proof of purchase must pre-date the creation of the listing or the date that the sale occurred.
- All proof-of-purchase documentation must be submitted within 24 hours of the initial request notification.
- Failure to provide requested documentation may result in further penalties as described in section 1.1.
Seat Saver℠ Sales: Vivid Seats, in its sole discretion, may designate certain authorized sellers as participants in its Seat Saver ℠ Program (“Seat Saver℠ Sellers”). This program is only offered to sellers with a long-standing track record of high fulfillment who agree to additional Terms and Conditions contained in our Seat Saver℠ Sales Agreement. Seat Saver℠ Sellers are permitted to sell tickets that they do not currently own or possess provided that they comply with the requirements of the Seat Saver℠ Program. Unless otherwise stated in a particular seller’s Seat Saver℠ Sales Agreement, all terms, conditions, rules, and procedures set forth herein apply to Seat Saver℠ Sellers. Those who are not enrolled in the Seat Saver℠ Program cannot list inventory they do not either own or possess.
