Any restriction printed on a ticket (e.g., “Limited View”, “Alcohol-Free”) must be included in the listing notes. Listings with disclosures that are found to be in violation of Vivid Seats policy may be deactivated or removed without prior notice. Orders may be canceled or replaced if a disclosure is in violation of company policy or if restricted inventory is not clearly marked as such. In some cases, Vivid Seats may attempt to salvage an order by offering the customer compensation for the issue. If this is the case, the seller will be responsible for all costs incurred.
Vivid Seats normalizes the listing notes provided in each listing to maintain consistency across the exchange. Exceptions or changes to the normalization or deletion of listing notes will not be honored. Details that should be included in the listing itself such as delivery method, stock type, or ship date will be removed if entered as a listing note.
Restrictions must be clearly described. Sellers should not use abbreviations or industry terminology that may be confusing to a customer. For example, standing-room-only listings must state “Standing Room Only” and not “SRO”.
Notes describing “piggyback seating” listings must state: “Seats are directly in front of each other and not side by side.” Please note that piggyback seating is only allowed if the same number of seats are in each consecutive row. There must be two or more seats in each row.
Non-event tickets, such as parking passes, must state that admission to the event is not included. Additionally, if an event ticket is required in order to use a non-event pass, e.g., tailgate passes or club/restaurant passes, this must also be disclosed.

Certain information (e.g., “Aisle”, “VIP Club Access”) may be included in the listing notes. However, these listing notes may not include the following information:
- Original face value
- Any form of seller contact information
- Pick up locations and/or addresses
- Poor grammar and/or spelling errors
- Unsubstantiated or subjective descriptive words such as “Best” or “Close”
- Notes that are intended for internal use
- Any verbiage that may be misleading or confusing
