If available replacement options do not fall within the necessary criteria outlined in section 7.1, you must contact Seller Services before fulfilling the order.


Replacement options should only be offered under the following circumstances:

  • New seats are located in the same section as the originals but in a better row, or in a better section and row.  
  • New seats can be provided at the same cost as the originals, or at a discount. 
  • The seller has absolutely no way to fulfill the order with the original section and row that was requested. 

Some replacement options may require customer consent, while others may be accepted by Vivid Seats on the customer’s behalf.


Please be advised: If downgraded replacement options are offered to the customer while comparable or upgraded inventory is available from other sellers, your order may be cancelled and replaced without prior notice. If downgraded replacements are accepted, you will be liable for any compensation due to the customer. In both scenarios If additional costs are incurred, you will be notified via email.
