The option to upload proof of transfer can be found on each Electronic Transfer order within the Vivid Seats Broker Portal. You may upload proof of transfer while indicating that the tickets have been transferred or, you may retroactively upload proof of transfer by searching the order ID in the broker portal or locating it in the “Pending Proof of Transfer” queue.


Proof of transfer is not required for orders fulfilled by supplying a unique URL through the Broker Portal (i.e., Utah Jazz, Boston Celtics) or mobile e-ticket PDF’s.


Vivid Seats considers a valid proof of transfer as a screenshot that displays the following information:

  • The email address that tickets were transferred to
  • Seat location(s)
  • Timestamp of when the transfer was initiated


This information is typically presented within your team/venue/primary market account or via email notification sent after initiating the transfer. If the details that appear in your account do not contain all 3 items listed above, the minimum requirement is a proof of transfer that clearly displays the recipient’s email address.


To upload a proof of transfer, click the “Upload Proof of Transfer” link and select the file that contains the proof of transfer for that order. Acceptable file formats are PDF, PNG, JPG, and GIF:


Once you have selected a file, it will automatically be attached to the order. There is no additional action required.
